Community Engagement and Outreach
The National Comedy Theatre has long engaged with local, humanitarian, and military groups to foster well-being and to connect and unite people. We are expanding those efforts by increasing our community outreach and service to make a meaningful difference in our communities, the way we know how—through laughter.
Each month, NCT will engage with a different group, organization, or community association to provide a 2-hour improv workshop that provides benefits such as building trust and respect, collaborative thinking, increasing tolerance, harmonious interaction and decreasing stress—totally and completely free.
For 21 years, San Diego’s professional improv company, the National Comedy Theatre, has provided entertainment, education, and an environment for people from all walks of life to learn, break-down barriers, overcome anxiety and shyness, unlock creativity, improve communication, and much more. We are delighted to offer this as a free service to non-profits throughout San Diego.
